12/02/10. Germany will cease military conscription from next July. It will remain in the constitution but the move ends what has been a piece of post war German identity. More to come, stay tune.
12/03/10. Mexico's 3rd quarter GDP fell to 5.3% from Mexico's 2nd quarter GDP figure of 7.6%. Mexico's trade deficit grew to $814 million in October 2010 compared to $560 million dollars reported in September 2010. More to come, stay tune.
12/04/10. From January to October 2010, Industrial production growth in Taiwan jumped 14.4%. Their September 2010 number was 12.2% from the 1st of the year. More to come, stay tune.
12/05/10. In Europe, the unemployment rate in the euro area went up/increased to 10.1% in October 2010 from 10% in September 2010. More to come, stay tune.
12/06/10. India's economy grew by 8.9% the first three quarters of 2010. This figure is the same as India's last quarter of 2009.
12/07/10. Today we Honor the men and women who perished from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. December 7th, 1941 will always be remembered. That attack led us into World War II. Approximately, 2,1 00 military personal died that Sunday morning. A sneak attack on an Island called Hawaii. At that time, Hawaii was a territory of the United States. 12/08/10. The 44th President, Obama is willing to compromise with Republicans to extend the 43rd President's Tax Relief for all Americans policy. By doing so, Republicans and the Democrat President may increase GDP in 2012 by 1%. This relates to about 450,000 to 550,000 new jobs in the United States next year. Could loosen banking credit and stir construction projects across America, thus bringing down the Unemployment rate in the United States to 9% v. the current rate of 9.6%. Definitely the right thing to do. This decision of President Obama to work with Republicans and work with Republican ideas is good for the country. More to come, stay tune.
12/09/10. In Germany, their November 2010 Business Confidence index reached it's highest level since the reunification of the country. More to come, stay tune.
12/10/10. Israel's parliament passed a law that would require any deal involving the ceding of land annexed by Israel. East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights will be put into a national referendum on this issue. Syria and the Palestinians are upset with this law. Looks like Peace on Earth won't happen soon. 12/11/10. Inflation in Canada increased 2.4% in September 2010 from 1.7% in August 2010. More to come, stay tune.
12/12/10. The sale of existing homes in the U.S., that is HOMES in FORECLOSURES and other distressed home sales including tax liens accounted for 34% of October's existing home sale figures. The same as September's 2010 existing home sale figure. This administration believes with the transfer of asset/ wealth economic policies that are truly European type business models. 12/13/10. Rolls Royce won a contract to provide the engines for 20 Air China aircraft . China had concerns about the British engineering company after an oil leak in one of its engines that caused an emergency landing of a Qantas Airways jet which forced the Australian Airline company to ground its fleet of planes.
12/14/10. The European Union said it would support Russia's request or bid to join the World Trade Organization. Russia is the world's largest economy to remain outside of the WTO. More to come, stay tune.
12/15/10. The official Unemployment rate in the United States is 9.8%. That is up from November's figure of 9.6%. This number represents only the unemployed that are reporting their lack of employment. The figure representing Americans that have stopped reporting their lack of employment is about 22%.
12/16/10. Japan's 2010 GDP growth rate from the beginning of the year to the third quarter of 2010 was revised to 4.5% from 3.9%. More to come, stay tune.
12/17/10. Consumer price inflation in Brazil increased to 5.6% in November from October's figure of 5.2%. More to come, stay tune.
12/18/10. Ethnic rioting in Kyrgyzstan between Kyrgyz and Uzbeks in the south of the country displaced hundreds of thousands of people threatening a possible civil war. More to come, stay tune.
12/19/10. At least 19 countries, including China, declined invitations to attend the award ceremony for the Nobel peace prize in Oslo on December 10th. China called the Nobel Peace Prize given this year to a jailed Chinese dessident, Liu Xiaobo, "interference by a few clowns.

12/21/10. This month, Sweden's Central Bank raised their Policy Rate by 25 basis points to 1.25%. More to come, stay tune.
12/22/10. The unemployment rate in Britain rose to 7.9% from 7.7% in their 3rd quarter of 2010. Britain's November inflation rate rose to 3.3% from October's inflation rate of 3.2%. More to come, stay tune.

12/28/10. Republican leaders told reporters that gasoline can reach $5.00 per gallon by the middle of 2012. The policy of not drilling in the United States and the fact that Middle Class growth in India, Brazil, China and other 3rd world countries have grown have pushed demand for oil. 12/29/10. On July 13th, 2010, the U.S. Census Bureau released data on Minority Owned Business firms from a survey conducted and started in 2007. The survey reports that the number of Hispanic Owned Business in the United States is 2,259,857 business units. These business units generated $345,181,639.00 in receipts. From the last survey conducted in 2002, Hispanic Owned Business's grew by 44% and their receipts grew by 56%. More to come, stay tune.
